The Institute covers program tuition, round-trip airfare, meals, accommodations, and excursion costs for all program participants thanks to the support of a grant from the U.S. Embassy in Seoul.
Participate in the 2021 KJEC Institute and be part of the inaugural class and connect with a cohort of peers with a passion to make a difference in their communities and become global leaders.
All selected students are expected to participate in the full duration of the program. Selected students should be prepared to step outside their comfort zone and participate in an English immersion environment that consists of a combination of classroom learning and community engagement activities, including cultural excursions, community service, and guest speakers, group projects, discussions, and presentations.
Upon successful completion of the Institute participants will be expected to utilize the leadership lessons that they learned and complete a community project back in their local communities. Project documentation should be submitted to the KJEC Institute Program Directors by December 1, 2021.
